MOHO ARCHITECTS AT  [pH 06]. LEÓN

Invited by the  Grupo Aranea and  estudio [SIC] ,Mold architects participated  at the [Ph06] workshop " Inhabited Landscapes" that took place in Leon on 11 to 18 September.

" pH Inhabited Landscapes is a study structure of territorial flagship units . Its purpose is to offer a range of models and planning tools that allow development of those, attentive to its  values as a landscape."
As coordinators of the group 01: "Activating León", we considered  strategies for urban regeneration and activation through the revitalization of certain covenants implied in the contemporary condition of a new citizenship. We focused on two population groups who treasure powerful energy-generating opportunities: the university and the elderly.

We developed a urban route through some  intergenerational strategies promptly distributed by the city who wanted to enrich the urban complexity and enhance the identity of the city as a meeting place.

Other  studios at the workshop were: DJArquitectura (Granada); Juan Socas (Sevilla) Toki-arkitekturak (Zarautz); and UNTERCIO (Madrid)
